FILIGRAN - the systems supplier for precast elements and lightweight steel construction

In 1949, Stefan Keller founded the company "FILIGRANBAU Stefan Keller KG" in Geretsried on the banks of the Isar river.

The first lightweight steel girders and machines for their mechanized production were developed and patented in 1949 too. The end result of the constant advancement of these early girders can be seen in today's FILIGRAN lattice girders and FILIGRAN truss girders.

In 1951, the beam-block floor was patented and introduced to the market.
During the years 1960-1965, the FILIGRAN floor slab was developed and marketed.

From 1970 to 1975, the FILIGRAN wall underwent development and its market introduction was started.

Since then, the FILIGRAN construction method has established itself in many parts of Europe and also in other regions. From the very beginning, we have concentrated on optimizing the FILIGRAN system and on adapting it to new requirements, thus promoting the enduring success of this efficient construction method.

In the middle of the sixties, lightweight truss girders were developed at FILIGRAN for steel structural engineering. The X truss girder, which is manufactured fully automatically and for example was used extensively at the Olympic grounds in Munich, is still a part of our product programme.

With the XV truss girder, FILIGRAN also offers a high-quality solution for wide-span truss structures in hall construction and civil engineering.

In 1982, the two firms "FILIGRANBAU Stefan Keller KG" and "Norddeutsche FILIGRANBAU von Weiler KG" merged to form today's company, "FILIGRAN Trägersysteme GmbH & Co KG".
